How Can HR Help an Employee Withdraw Their Full PF in the Current Online System?

One of the employees has resigned. He wants to withdraw his fund and EPS amount as he has completed 7 years of service. Now, as an HR professional, what do we need to do to facilitate the withdrawal of his entire PF?

Should I provide him with his UAN so he can withdraw the amount himself, or as an HR professional, what steps must we take considering the current online system's differences from the previous system? I have experience working in the offline PF system.

Earlier, it was the responsibility of HR to ensure that the necessary tasks were completed for the employee to receive their payment. However, now your role is complete once you provide details such as UAN and member ID. The employee can then choose to transfer the funds to a new account with their new employer or withdraw the sum. You should also approve any changes made by the employee to their KYC information.
