If the company is giving 30 privileged leave days, and the state requires it to provide 8 PL, 8 CL, and 8 Sick Leave days—totaling 24 days—can the company give 30 privileged leave days while ignoring the 8 CL and 8 sick leave days?
The terms and conditions of the three types of leaves are different. So, clubbing all under one head would be counterproductive and objected to by the Labour Inspectors.
