My first point is, have you discussed providing lunch at the office through the cafeteria on a monthly fixed amount of Rs.1,100.00, irrespective of the number of days they eat, or even if they are on holiday, they will still have to pay? What were the suggestions and staff points on this?
1. If you deduct just Rs.1,100.00 per month, not considering whether the person ate for the full month, it is not correct. There should be an option for the number of days - 15 days and 30 days (1 to 10 days will be counted as 15 days, and 20 days will be counted as 30 days). Here, staff are at liberty to donate it to other staff to use in the absence of the opting staff on leave.
2. Unless this is checked, I don't think it is a wise idea to deduct Rs.1,100.00 per month, but it should be made with an option of half a month and a full month.

Subject: Providing Lunch Facility at the Office Cafeteria from 2nd January 2023
As discussed with all of you, we are pleased to inform you that lunch is available at the cafeteria from 12:00 noon to 2:30 pm. The time gap is provided so that all staff can conveniently take their time to have lunch in the office cafeteria. As per the discussion, a monthly Cafeteria Lunch Charge of Rs.1,100.00 will be deducted from the staff who have opted for it.
There is also a general lunch available at the cafeteria on a daily basis at a price of Rs.000.00 if extra lunch is available, subject to availability at 2:30 pm. This is subject to availability, which is to be checked at the cafeteria.
