Worried About Job Verification After Termination? How to Handle Missing Relieving Letters

Shalini001
I was terminated from my previous employment (MNC) because of a BGV failure. They didn't give me a relieving letter or an experience letter. In my next job, they will definitely ask me for the relieving letter. I have payslips, income tax proofs, emails, and an offer letter to prove my employment. But they will ask for an experience or relieving letter also. What can I do?

Also, if my new employer calls my previous employer to validate my employment, will they come to know that I was terminated due to BGV failure?

Hi, Before your new employer verifies with your past employer, it's better to disclose the reason for your exit with your previous employer. How long did you serve with the past MNC, and should they have issued a termination letter?

I worked for six months, and yes, they issued the termination letter. If I disclose that I was terminated due to my background check failure, will any company hire me?

Hi, What is the reason for BGV failure? I hope you have not indulged in acts of misconduct or violated the company norms. If so, there is no need to worry about sharing the BGV failure.

If you failed BGV in your previous job, it is logical to assume you will fail BGV in the next job as they will find the same problem. You need to get that sorted first and foremost.
