Cheque Bounce case

Party has filed a case against me for negotiable act 138 now I have given the money that they wanted once get the summon from court now in ecourt website status of case is CASE DISPOSED AS WITHDRAWN
Now my question is does this comes under background verification done by private companies or government jobs?

While the status is that there is no case pending against you now, but in case the query is 'Whether any criminal/civil case has been instituted against you, the reply has to be in the affirmative. The matter is likely to surface in case the background verification is properly done. Such cheque bounce case is not considered a serious infirmity against the character of the candidate but you should be ready to give a convincing reply with proof to explain your conduct in this regard.
