Grievance Procedure
In general, the normal procedure begins with the employee making a formal, written complaint to their immediate superior, and a formal investigation commences. After verifying the facts, the investigator arrives at a conclusion either in favor of the employee based on the investigation or otherwise.
Prevention of Grievances
To prevent grievances, there should be a congenial and transparent work environment in the organization. However, employees' grievances are inevitable in any organization, regardless of the best efforts of employers, as individuals' mindsets differ, and even a positive action can be perceived negatively.
