Should I mention my Termination from GDS post under Dept. of Posts to my new Govt. department

I was terminated from GDS post under Dept. of Posts. GDS post is temporary post and not a civil service. They terminated me for unauthorized leave. Now I have got a permenent Central govt. job. Should I mention about my termination to the new department ?
