Hi, I was part of Company A until May 29, 2021. However, I joined Company B on May 21, and the very next day, after realizing that it might create issues in the future, I informed the recruiter of Company B that I would not be joining. By that time, my employee ID was already created. I didn't bother at that time, thinking that since I had told them I would not be joining, they would close my account.
Later, after May 29, I joined Company C, where I provided the relieving letter from Company A and didn't disclose anything about Company B, as I thought it was just for a day and would not be an issue.
Now I have submitted my resignation at Company C, and just a week before my last working day, I received an email stating that an inquiry has been set up against me for hiding facts and for a dual appointment. I provided all the details to the inquiry team, but they are saying this could lead to my termination.
Could someone please suggest what needs to be done?
