I am working as a HR in an IT Company. We are planning to change our leave policy.
We want to start carry forward of leaves. Please guide me about the rules of carrying forward leaves.

Hello,
EL/ PL-These are also known as privilege leave and this can be carry forward.
CL- Can not be carried forward nor is encashable.

*This may vary from State to State as per the shop & establishment act!

Can we carry forward sick leave also? If Yes, then what is the maximum time limit it can be availed in a year?

Yes absolutely you can, and the SL balance at the end of each year carries over to the next year but this may vary from Company to company (30-60 days)
