Hi, I have a doubt regarding statutory assignments such as EPF, ESI, PT, etc. Do these statutory works fall under the HR Department or the Accounts Department? Please clarify for me.

Yes, definitely - HR Department. The HR Department is handling all these things, i.e., PF, ESIC, PT, and Labour Welfare Fund. The Accounts Department is only responsible for payment processing.
