Stuck in a Notice Period Dilemma: How Can I Join My New Job on Time?

Hi, I have a situation with my notice period. I have been working as a process associate for the past 1 year and 6 months, and I received an offer from Amazon to join immediately. They gave me a joining time of 10 days, which I accepted after speaking with my team lead. However, my current company is not willing to reduce my notice period even though I am willing to pay out. Even HR is ready for that, but my operations team manager is insisting on a one-month notice period. I am unsure of what to do. He is not open to negotiation and is not accepting my request. Additionally, the new company I wish to join is not open to taking me later. I am concerned about the impact on my career. Please help me navigate this situation. What steps can I take to address this issue effectively?

Please do not commit to any dates with a future prospective employer without getting confirmation from your current employer. Mere confirmation from the Team Lead will not be sufficient. HR and your final superior should also accept it. All companies will provide a pay in lieu of notice period option but normally will add a line "at the discretion of the employer," so it depends on your nature of work and whether a replacement is identified, etc.
