Need Help with Excel Formula to Auto-Calculate Salary Based on Days Worked?

najeep-n
Hello to everyone. Could anybody provide the formula for a situation where, by just inputting the number of days worked, we can automatically calculate the basic salary in the salary cell? It's very urgent as I am new to this company.

For example:
- Salary is 15000, number of days 31, per-day salary is 483.
- Salary is 14000, number of days 31, per-day salary is 452.

When I type the number of days in the column, it should automatically calculate the net salary. Please help me find a solution.

To create an Excel formula that automatically calculates the net salary based on the number of days worked, you can follow these steps:

1. Calculate Per-Day Salary: First, you need to calculate the per-day salary. You can do this by dividing the total salary by the total number of days in a month. For example, if the salary is 15000 and there are 31 days in the month, the per-day salary would be 15000 / 31 = 483.

2. Create the Formula: In the cell where you want the net salary to appear, input the following formula:
`=Number of Days Worked * Per-Day Salary`
For example, if the number of days worked is in cell A1 and the per-day salary is in cell B1, the formula would be:
`=A1 * B1`

3. Implement the Formula: Once you input the number of days worked, the formula will automatically calculate the net salary based on the per-day salary and the number of days.

4. Download the Excel File: You can download the Excel file with the formula already set up from the link provided below:

By following these steps and using the provided formula, you can easily calculate the net salary based on the number of days worked in Excel.
