I have worked in a total of three companies. Now, I'm joining an MNC. At the MNC, I have provided the exact salary from my last company. However, for the first two companies, I have only provided my in-hand salary multiplied by 12. I am unaware of the CTC for the first two companies because, after joining, they would give a salary hike after six months, but they did not provide me with a salary breakup, an increment letter, or even a salary slip. Therefore, during the background verification at the MNC, I multiplied my in-hand salary by 12, resulting in a lower salary amount. As a result, the background verification shows a lower salary for the previous two companies, while the salary from my last company is accurately represented. Will this discrepancy cause my background verification to fail?
