Can we extend the probation period of employees beyond 6 months? Actually, as per our company policy, the probation period is 3 months. If employees still need improvement, then in that case, it will be 6 months. Now, one of our employees had a probation period of 3 months. As his performance was not satisfactory and still needs improvement, his probation period was extended by 3 more months. He has now completed his probation period of 6 months. However, his line manager states that he still needs improvement. Can we extend it again in this case?
