How Should I Fairly Calculate Overtime for My E Rickshaw Assembling Team?

pratik-poddar1
I run a small assembling unit for E Rickshaws. I have a team of seven people who handle all the work, including servicing, loading, unloading of items, and assembling. How do I calculate overtime for staff? I don't want to just pay them per hour they work, as I believe it doesn't justify the work they are doing. Please help.

Overtime hours mean the hours a worker has worked over and above the scheduled hours of work in the establishment. The scheduled working hours are 8 hours per day, and this can go up to 9 hours but should not exceed 48 hours when summed up in a week. Accordingly, you will have to pay overtime wages at double the average rate of wages for every hour worked beyond 48 hours in a week. While calculating hours worked in a week, the days the employee has remained on leave with pay should be considered as worked, and that day shall account for 8 hours.
