New Joiners: What Documents Should We Request Before Their Start Date?

Dear members, What are the documents we should ask the new joiners to submit before their joining date?

Hi, This is very basic. Please provide copies of your Aadhar/PAN/Driving License/Voter ID. Additionally, we will need your UAN card, relieving order from your past company, and copies of your SSLC/HSC/Diploma/Degree certificates, whichever is applicable. If applicable, please also provide your old office ESI number.

Hello, Good evening, Before joining, you may ask the employee for the following:

1. Full KYC details along with bank details if needed
2. Photograph
3. Reference/Emergency contact numbers
4. Educational certificates
5. Compliance details if needed
6. Medical fitness/test details if a medical examination is required.

You may create a joining checklist that could be helpful in this regard.
