Maternity Benefit - submitted a certificate from my gynecologist, where it's clearly mentioned traveling may lead to loss of pregnancy

I am employed for 9 years with an Indian MNC. Currently 26 weeks pregnant and due to medical complications have been advised bed rest, hence have requested for WFH option as there is a company policy with effect to the same where the expectant mother in discussion with the manager can avail remote working. In my first trimester too during covid phase when I had asked for WFH due to increasing covid cases in my company & also my department, HR had asked for pregnancy confirmation documents, all my scan reports and blood reports, which I submitted but they made me travel to work 3days/week.

Ultimately I was down with covid in the first trimester. Now almost on the verge in the 7th month in pregnancy, I have submitted a certificate from my gynecologist, where it's clearly mentioned traveling may lead to loss of pregnancy. The HR is insisting I submit my blood and other medical reports. Pls note I'm in a corporate role and nature of work is such that can be performed from home & is not affecting my work. Pls suggest should I share my reports as I believe certificate from gynaec is sufficient.

Hi,
Pathetic. Your HR is not qualified Doctor or with nursing background . Certificate from Doctor is enough I feel. Either you or some of your family member can talk to your HR saying that incase of any mishap due to travel he/she alone will be held responsible.
