I am employed for 9 years with an Indian MNC. Currently 26 weeks pregnant and due to medical complications have been advised bed rest, hence have requested for WFH option as there is a company policy with effect to the same where the expectant mother in discussion with the manager can avail remote working.
In my first trimester too during the covid phase when I had asked for WFH due to increasing covid cases in my company and also my department, HR had asked for pregnancy confirmation documents, all my scan reports, and blood reports, which I submitted but they made me travel to work 3 days a week.
Ultimately, I was down with covid in the first trimester. Now almost on the verge in the 7th month of pregnancy, I have submitted a certificate from my gynecologist, where it's clearly mentioned traveling may lead to the loss of pregnancy. The HR is insisting I submit my blood and other medical reports. Please note, I'm in a corporate role and the nature of work is such that can be performed from home and is not affecting my work. Please suggest should I share my reports as I believe the certificate from the gynecologist is sufficient.
