Previous organization has credited the PF amount through three different companies without any information

Hey Folks,

Just encountered an incident with a friend. His previous organization credited the PF amount through three different companies without providing any information, neither verbally nor in writing. When we asked for clarification, they informed us that they had outsourced the PF to different companies, which is why the entries are coming from multiple sources. This issue is now arising during the background check as three different organizations have credited the amount, which is reflected in the UAN.

Kindly suggest.

This is not legal. At one time, dual employment was not permissible as per the Factory Act 1948. Also, when you are going to transfer as well as in final settlement, the PF department will reject your claim and ask for clarification/declaration, etc.
