You can consider the following points while making a budget for the HR Department:
1. Manpower Planning: Estimate how many resources are required in different departments. Of course, the CTC figure is associated with each head.
2. Advertisement Expenditure: Includes costs for local newspapers, consultancies, portals, etc.
3. Training and Development: Under this category, every activity should be considered. For in-house training, estimate the cost if external faculty is providing training based on hours. Proper calendar planning for training schedules should be done. For development, consider technical courses like Sun Java certification, Microsoft certification exams if your company is in the IT sector.
4. If you have other plans for employees such as additional allowances like onshore allowance, employee of the month or quarter awards, or any finance-related aspects that fall under the budget, include them.
Ensure you consider every small detail related to employees where costs are involved.
