How Can I Correct My Name in EPFO Without Involving My Previous Employer?

Hi Sir, My name is Mohammed Irshad Shareef. In my EPFO, there are two members. In the previous company, my name was listed as Mohammed Irshad Shariff, which is incorrect. In my current company, it is also listed as Mohammed Irshad Shariff, which is also incorrect. In the old company, they have marked my exit.

Please help me. Can I change my name with the new employer? Will it affect the two member accounts or not? What should I do for a name change without seeking help from the old employer?

You can submit the Joint Declaration Form and an undertaking letter from your current employer, along with your PAN card, Aadhar card, and bank details, to the concerned PF department to ensure correctness.

I have one question: If I change my name in the new member EPFO, will it reflect in the old member EPFO as well?
