Is My Payslip Real? Seeking Help to Spot Manipulations and Verify Authenticity

Hello Friends, First of all, thanks to the community for your helpful suggestions. Recently, I came across a payslip and have some doubts about it. Could you please help me check whether it's manipulated? Also, can you suggest other options to verify/cross-check?

Hi, The best way to verify a payslip is to cross-check with the employer who issued the payslip through email and get their confirmation. Lately, it has become very common among candidates to manipulate payslips very meticulously.

Verification Methods for Payslip Accuracy
01. You can verify by bank statement as well.
02. Confirm with the employer via mail.
03. As per my knowledge, HRA should be 40% for non-metro cities and 50% for metro cities, but the amount on the attached payslip is different.

Please check the PF contribution amount in the deduction part, as it does not match the Basic pay amount.

@ Subhash, PF was deducted considering the Basic as Rs. 15,000/-. PF above Rs. 15,000/- basic is optional and not compulsory.

Can you please tell us why you think the payslip is fake?
