Feeling Helpless: How Can I Claim My Unpaid Salary and Benefits After Resigning?

Hi sir, I had served my previous organization for 8 years. I resigned 4 months ago, and I have not received 2 months' salary. Additionally, 2 years of PF were also not paid by my previous organization. When I inquire about gratuity and leave encashment, they inform me that they are not willing to pay these amounts. I am feeling helpless now. Please guide me on what steps to take to receive my outstanding payments.

I presume the organization is still functional. In that case, send a formal notice to them stating the aforementioned facts and cautioning that if the same is not paid within three days, you will resort to the available legal means to realize the dues along with interest thereof. If there is still no satisfactory response, you can submit an application to the Labor Officer of the local area and request his intervention. The rest will be taken care of. These are statutory dues, and the employer cannot escape the liability thereon.
