Can you please explain the purpose of the above comparison? It is not as if you have a choice in whether you will accept ESIC or not.

Your attachment is self-explanatory. You should opt for ESIC rather than Mediclaim Insurance because insurance offers only limited benefits, whereas ESIC provides a wide range of benefits.

Hi, ESI is statutory and not optional, whereas Mediclaim insurance is optional and at the discretion of the employer. While ESI will be beneficial for employees covered under it, Mediclaim will be beneficial for employees who are not covered under ESI.

ESIC is statutory, and a mediclaim policy is optional. We advise taking treatment at ESIC hospitals, which are good and beneficial for your family.

Thank you.

As already clarified here, ESIC is statutory and offers unlimited benefits. If the company is willing to provide extra coverage for its workforce, it can opt for additional coverage such as mediclaim.

Thanks,
