Are you being paid on the basis of notified minimum wages for your state? If so, the payment for weekly holidays is included. Indeed the Minimum wage for the month is decided first of all and the daily wage rate is computed by dividing the monthly rate by 26. Hope this clarifies

Dear Mr. Pagare,

How long have you been working in India? Anyone can tell you're over the age of 18 based on your photo.

There are three types of wage payments in India.
1. Daily Wage: (In which Sunday or weekly off payment is built into the minimum wage).
2. Monthly Salary: Paid in full if worked on all working days, regardless of whether the month has 28, 29, 30, or 31 days. (You get your full salary even in February.)
3. Piece Rated: (Which is not applicable to you)

Please review your appointment letter once again (if issued by your employer) and check whether there is any mention of additional payment for Sundays and/or weekly offs. There you will find the answer to your question.
