If you have not been a member of the ESI Scheme, then you cannot be a beneficiary. If you are a member of the scheme for the contribution periods given below, you are entitled to the benefit period as shown against each.
Contribution Period: April 1st to September 30th - Cash Benefit Period: January 1st of the following year to June 30th
Contribution Period: October 1st to March 31st of the following year - Cash Benefit Period: July 1st to December 31st.
