You need to see the notification issued by the state government that applies to your society. It is issued every six months in most states. You need to pay minimum wages as per the skill level and specified activity or industry in which you work. Security guards have separate minimum wages. Staff will be either skilled or semi-skilled. Housekeepers will mostly be semi-skilled, while managers will be skilled.
Note: Whether someone is skilled or unskilled is not solely determined by the nature of the work, but also by their ability to perform tasks without supervision or additional training.
