Does a 51% Central Govt. Stake Require CLRA Registration with Central Authorities? Seeking Clarity

rao.shyamprasad@gmail.com
Respected sir, Is there any rule in the Act that requires the Central Government, holding more than a 51% stake in a company, to register under the CLRA Act with the ALC and central authorities? Previously, we obtained registration from the State Government as we had a 49% stake of the Central Government. Please advise. I am unable to find this information in the Act.

I understand that yours is a public sector unit. The appropriate authority for any industrial dispute is the Central Government. Therefore, under CLRA, the appropriate authority is also central.
