Urgent Help Needed: Can We Correct Wrongly Uploaded Wages on the ESIC Portal?

One insured person's wages were wrongly uploaded in the ESIC portal for the period of April 21 to September 21. Now, is there any possibility of updating the compensation in their wages? The insured person is now availing of super specialty benefits for their family. It is very urgent for their family.

Normally, the correction of previous RCs is not possible through the online portal. However, if there is an inspection note and a basis on which you have to remit amounts as omitted wages, the same would be possible. Therefore, it is better to contact your local/branch office and seek their advice. The incorrect upload should be due to negligence or oversight on the part of the employer, right? In that case, you should also be prepared to pay interest and damages for the delayed payment.
