Employee PF Account Management After Disability

If any employee becomes permanently disabled after a brain hemorrhage and, after a few months, the company doesn't pay his PF contribution due to long absenteeism, what will happen to his PF account? Kindly suggest whether he should fully withdraw his PF or not. His PF registration date is October 2010, and the last contribution submission date is March 2020.

If he is not going to contribute, then the employer can exit him from PF with a remark "Long Leave (Cessation due to employee ill health)," which will enable him to withdraw his PF.

If the employee is still on long-term absenteeism, the company can fill in his exit date after proper communication with him or his guardian. Then, he may withdraw his entire contribution amount.
