Employee Background Verification Failed

A candidate joins us in first week of June and after 10days we came to know through background verification report that this candidate submitted all fake documents of previous employer (Offer Letter, Appointment letter, payslip, reliving etc with 5yrs experience) and he never worked with that employer.


He attended our office approx 15days. Kindly advise is he eligible to get 15days salary and probation notice pay salary as we have relived him with immediate effect.(as per our offer letter either party can terminate the contract with 7days notice pay)

In our offer letter clause is mentioned that if your Background verification failed your employment will be canceled immediately.

Kindly advise in this matter.

As the employee submitted forged documents termination of employment is right. However you are liable to pay 15 days salary..
