I have been working in a college for more than a year and a half. In the last week of February, I decided to quit without informing them, which was a grave mistake on my part. However, I had completed all my duties and syllabus. After quitting, I also conducted some remaining and pending classes from my house, created question papers and internal marksheets, and submitted them duly. In March, I submitted my resignation letter, which they accepted. In May, they contacted me and cleared all my pending salary and settlements, for which I am grateful.
Eligibility for an Experience Letter
My concern is whether I will be eligible to apply for an experience letter. I did not inform them despite their attempts to contact me to rejoin the college, to which I did not respond. There was no signed contract stipulating a notice period. They have cleared all my salary and dues. Under these circumstances, will I be eligible to apply for an experience letter without any mention of my absence? I completed all pending tasks from home and submitted everything dutifully. I acknowledge my mistake in not informing them about my resignation. Please advise me on my eligibility for a proper experience certificate. Thank you.
