Is a 90-Day Notice Period Necessary for HR Professionals, or Can It Be Shortened?

Vprakash
Hi friends, I have one doubt. As an HR professional, is a 90-day notice period applicable even for HR personnel, or can we be relieved in 30 days? Kindly clear my doubt, please.

Thanks,

Notice Periods for Different Employment Categories

Notice periods shall vary according to employment categories. It can be 30 days for workers, 2 months for junior officers, and, of course, three months for managers. This depends on management decisions in this regard. However, within the same category, it should be consistent, if possible. HR is no exception in this regard.

Depending on the cadre of employees, the notice period differs. The notice period for an HR executive and an HR manager varies. However, the management of the company has the sole discretionary power to waive part or the full notice period.
