Preparing for PGDHRM Exams and Transitioning to HR: Seeking Advice from Seniors

Jayshree Korde
Hi,

Have a nice time to all. Right now, I am doing PGDHRM through distance learning. I am preparing for my first semester. So, I request my seniors to please help me prepare for the exam. This exam is of the objective type, and I don't know how to prepare. Also, please suggest me for a job change. Currently, I am working in the Q.A. department as an Executive and I am thinking of transitioning to the HR department as an HR Executive. Could you please provide me with some guidance on this?

Thanks & regards,
J.K.

Dear L. Kumar,

While looking at my current designation (Q.A. Executive), do you really think I will get a better-profiled job in the HR department with a better salary? If so, then please suggest how to shift towards it.

Thanks & Regards,
Jayshree

Hi Sandeep Korde,

It appears you have exams, and everyone experiences fear when facing examinations, even if they are a topper. I believe you are employed by a firm and possess knowledge about the market and current processes within companies. My suggestion is to create short notes, headings, and subheadings for relevant topics to aid in your preparation. Your real-time knowledge will be beneficial for your PGDBM exams.

Regarding your job change, I believe you hold a good position in the quality department. The career prospects in this field are promising, and I recommend you continue in the same direction.

Wishing you all the best.

Goodbye,
Korde
