Introducing PF After 3 Years: Do We Need Employee Declarations for Past Non-Payment?

Hi CiteHR Team, our company started 4 years ago. We have not registered for PF to date. We are planning to introduce PF next month. Do we need to obtain any declaration from employees regarding non-payment of PF for the last 3 years? If yes, please provide the form.

Were you liable to register and pay PF? Basically, did you have more than 19 employees at any time during that period?

Provision for PF Opt-Out

There is no provision for opting out. You need to pay the PF in arrears from the day on which you crossed 20 employees.
