Understanding Statutory Registers: What Are They and Why Do They Matter for Compliance?

Manoj gulapala
How many statutory registers are there? What are these?

There are several statutory registers that companies are required to maintain. The specific registers vary depending on the country and the legal requirements in place. In general, some common statutory registers include the register of members, register of directors, register of charges, and register of mortgages. These registers are important for maintaining transparency and compliance with regulatory requirements.
