Hi all, last month, I resigned from my job, and now I have a new job in a private MNC. However, there is a cheque bounce case against me under Section 138. I settled the amount on 15th February (which was my court hearing date, though I did not attend) by communicating with the bank. The case has now been extended, with a hearing scheduled for 29th March.
My joining date at the new job is the day after tomorrow. I am concerned whether this pending case (which shows as pending when checked) will affect my employment if my employer becomes aware of the pending criminal case under Section 138. Please advise.
