I am an ex TCSer with 7 years of experience in TCS. I left TCS few years ago and whenever I switched jobs, my employers called my reference contact numbers provided by me for background check. Recently I received offer from a financial company which has very strict background check requirements.
Though I gave them my last TCS Manager's contact info, they didn't call him and are going to verify my TCS employment using some other way, I am not sure how.
So just wanted to know does TCS provide any way for ex employees to be verified. If that company calls the corporate number, will they even respond and provide my details. Just wanted to know what the process is, in case anyone of you have gone through the same.
