Dear Seniors/ Professional,

Wishes!!

An employee is serving the notice period & to be relieved in mid of April.
Company PMS cycle is April to March.

As he resigned in March so company neglect his appraisal process.

Is he entitle to get a new salary of 15 days & increment letter from his current organization? or once an employee has resigned then he has no right of appraisal?

Please guide.

In most of the organisations, once the employee resigns that is the end of appraisal process and consequent actions. Though this is widely practised yet there may not be any rule to this effect. Pl check the position at your place.
From the principle perspective, increment is due and payable on completion of one year service. There is no bar on granting increment during the notice period, although the service conditions are kept the same during the notice period.
