Dear All, I have been working in a US-based company for 5 years as an Assistant HR Manager. However, we had an HR in the US who left last month. Now, management is asking me to work on US hiring as well. I am not being paid extra for this additional responsibility. Do I have the right to ask for the same, or is it reasonable to request a salary increase for handling US hiring? I am currently only paid 45k per month, and my office hours are the normal day shift only.
I handle HR generalist duties and recruitment for a company with 60+ employees, and I am the sole HR personnel.
Please advise me on a suitable solution.
