Stuck Between Job Offers: How Can I Handle My Current Employer's Notice Period?

Hello everyone, currently, I have received an offer from Infosys. However, I have a service bond with my current company that will be completed in the month of April. After that, I am required to serve a two-month notice period. I had already communicated this information during the interview to the HR personnel and also sent them an email.

In the offer letter, my joining date is mentioned as the 21st of April. As my current employer is not willing to release me earlier, I am seeking advice on what steps I can take in this situation.

Concurrent Notice and Bond Period

The notice period runs concurrently with the bond period, meaning it does not start only after the end of the bond period. You should start negotiating with your current employer to buy back the remaining notice period. It is clear and appreciated that you do not want to miss the opportunity at Infosys. Before that, persuade your current employer to release you earlier.
