Dear CiteHR member Ms. Rajeshwari Gautam ji, in order to convert, i.e., download attendance data from the attendance punching device, you need to export the data from the Biometric Device either to a pen drive or connect the device to a PC/Laptop. Most of the Biometric Devices are Wi-Fi enabled and can be accessed through a computer that has the Attendance Software of that biometric machine installed. As soon as you access the Device through the computer, you get the options to download the data. The presences and absences are automatically shown in the downloaded data.

Since there are different brands of Biometric Machines based on specific software, it is advisable to obtain the user and Admin manual of the Biometric Device and find out the instructions for downloading the data. In case the vendor has already given a demo to someone in your company, take the help of that person, or you can also call the technician of the machine vendor to demonstrate the process to you if you are not getting the required help from the concerned person in your company.
