For job background verification, if I give an address where I or my family do not reside (i have an address on DL and Passport) as I stayed there in college, what can happen? Will they fail my BGV?
If it's an MNC many at times they may send people even with bouquets to verify your residence.
You should have given your current address. It depends on the organisation, in this pandemic people are staying in their native places and attending interviews through skype and others.
This will not be an reason for failure of BGV but keep the HR posted.
