Is it okay to submit a marriage certificate to update the spouse as a nominee after one year from joining? This is because when joining, I wanted to keep my nominee as my parents.

Your nominations can be given to both parents and a spouse; there is no restriction that it should be given only to the spouse. Please mention the details of the nomination and the percentage shared by the nominees in all declaration forms like gratuity (Form F), PF (Form 2 Revised). If your organization has GMC (Group Medical Coverage), you can submit separate nominations as per the format issued by the organization.
