Can I Resign and Join a New Job in a Week Without PF Issues? Seeking Advice

I am working in company 'A' in the BPO domain with 2 years of experience, and I have received an offer from company 'B' as a fresher in the IT domain. However, the new company requires me to join within one week, but my current company has not released me immediately. In this case, can I resign from company A and join company B simultaneously? Will this action cause any issues with my PF account?

It cannot affect PF when the exact Date of Relieving (DOR) is updated as you were relieved from the job in your last employment. Moreover, a simple thing to keep in mind is that the date (whether it is Date of Joining (DOJ) or Date of Leaving (DOL)) may not be the same in different services.

Why couldn't it be the same?

The data is not clear as to when the first service comes to an end and the second service starts. Hence, it may not be the same. If there is a different date, it means that the previous service will be transferred into the present service.
