Hi Yogita,
Good morning, Mumbai!
As far as the HR Policy is concerned, it mainly depends upon the structure of the organization.
HR policies of an organization should be employee-friendly and aligned towards organizational goals.
If a company treats their employees as assets, then it needs to keep them happy. In a growing organization, their HR policies reflect training and development.
In other organizations where employees are treated as factors of production, there is less work for HR.
Good HRM keeps the workers secure, satisfied, and motivated.
HR policies should be updated in many aspects: changing needs of the organization and the employees, market demands, etc.
HRM consists of two parts: Managerial and Operative
Managerial: HR managers have to plan, organize, staff, direct, and control.
Operative: Employment (Job analysis, Human resource planning, recruitment, selection, placement, and induction), Human resource development, Compensation, and Employee relations.
First, try to grasp this, and then if you need further explanation I can provide more details.
Hope this gives you an idea about HR.
Thanks and Regards,
Vikas Kumar
