Form No.1 - Factory Approval Plan Process.

• No site shall be used for the location of a factory or no building in a factory should be constructed, reconstructed, extended, or taken into use as a factory or part of a factory unless previous permission in writing is obtained from the Administrator or the Chief Inspector of Factories
• Application for such permission or submission of plans shall be made in Form No.1 in triplicate. It shall be accompanied by the following documents

Factory Plan Details

1. A flow chart of the manufacturing Process its Description including the chemical used, if any
2. Process and the steps proposed to be taken for effective removal of trade/Production wastes and A certificate from the Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board proper arrangements made for the disposal of wastes
3. The site of the factory and immediate surroundings
4. After examination of the documents referred to in sub-rule (2), the Chief Inspector or Deputy Chief Inspector shall be signed and One copy shall be returned to the applicant
