Kindly clarify the following doubts regarding apprenticeship:
a. How long can an apprentice work continuously without a weekly off?
b. What is the rule for the weekly off for an apprentice? Is it possible to give a week off on any one day of the week without considering Form XI? In that case, following 48 hours/week, but the apprentice's continuous working days may exceed 6 to 13 days. (As per the act, an employee can work continuously for 10 days without a week off - Can we ignore this for apprentices?)
c. Can a company engage more company trainees than the approved number of apprenticeships?
d. Can an apprentice be directly engaged in production?
e. Can an apprentice be engaged in the night shift?
f. Apprenticeship - What is the training plan to be followed as per the board's rules?
g. Can the apprenticeship be extended for one more month and then discontinued?
h. What are the important requirements of an apprenticeship to be followed by the employer?
