Hello, I'm looking for information on the Dearness Allowance calculation method for the General Engineering and Fabrication industry. As per new norms, DA is mentioned as Rs. 5717/pm in Tamil Nadu. In that case, what would be the total wages payable to a worker on a monthly basis and how is it calculated? Please help me understand the concept.

I am not able to understand what the actual problem is. You need to add the DA to the salary (basic salary, I assume). Where did you get the DA figure from?
