6 months ago, I resigned from my position in the organization. At that time, my manager increased my salary. As discussed and agreed, he was supposed to give me the salary increment on-call. He told me that he would give me a certain amount in hand, so I took back my resignation based on his agreement. I informed him that if he provided the amount I requested, I would stay with the organization for another 8 months. I stated that I was reverting my resignation per our discussion on the salary revision.
However, in the following month's salary, I received 700 RS less than the agreed amount. I tried calling my manager, but he did not answer, so I resumed working as usual according to my shift. Now, after 6 months, I resigned via email. On the second day, the manager accepted my resignation via email, and on the third day, he replied stating that I had agreed to stay for a year during our previous call, hence I needed to withdraw my resignation.
I had not signed any papers or a bond regarding this agreement, nor had I provided anything in writing related to staying for a year. I replied via email stating this and questioned the validity of my resignation. The manager referenced an email where I had agreed to withdraw my resignation based on the salary revision confirmation.
