Notice Period Confusion: Does "2 Months" Mean 60 Days or Just Two Calendar Months?

Raju122
My contract just mentions "2 months" notice period. Should I consider it as a full 60 days or just one full month and a few days of the second month?

Of course, a month is generally considered to comprise 30 days. However, when your contract states "two months" as the notice period, it should be interpreted as "two full consecutive months" regardless of the number of days in each month.

It means two consecutive months of notice period to be served regardless of the number of days in the month.
